Joyce (李樂詩) was born in Canada and spent her early years in Toronto where she studied piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music (ARCT).
At the age of 18, she was discovered by a concert promoter and signed her first recording deal in Hong Kong.
In 1994, her career took off with her 3rd album going double platinum.
