Josephine Borio was an actress during the "Silver Screen Era" before movies had sound. She was born in Italy and followed her brother to Hollywood to become an actress. Her brother, August Borio, worked in the publicity department for MGM. After her final film in Hollywood, she moved to New York and continued her career on stage. Her first marriage was to NY socialite Foster and produced one child, Joseph Foster. After her divorce, she moved back to California and settled in Contra Costa County, near San Francisco.
