The closest thing Britain had to Chita Rivera, she appeared in the UK premiere of "Follies", "Applause", "Oh Kay!", "Chicago", "Stepping Out" and original London productions of "How To Succeed...", "Sweet Charity", "Jean Seberg" and "The Rink". Retired for some years following her marriage to popular British comedian Dick Emery.
