John Resko was born on February 16, 1911 in New York, New York, USA as John Edward Resko. Portrayed by actor Ben Gazzara in the film Convicts 4 (1962). The film was taken from Mr. Resko's autobiography "Reprieve". After getting out of prison he became a fairly successful writer in Hollywood during the fifties and sixties.
At the age of eighteen, he was convicted of murder and sentenced to die in the electric chair at Sing Sing prison.
