Doering would make his debut in All Japan Pro-Wrestling in June 24, 2007. He would immideitely become a notable partner for Keiji Mutoh as the two would even go on to win that years “World’s Strong Tag League”. Which he would then the two would follow up by capturing the World Tag belts after they bested the team of Satoshi Kojima and TARU on January 3, 2008. Initially opposed against the Voodoo Murders faction, he would go on to join the group in 2008.

Initially opposed against the Voodoo Murders faction, he would go on to join the group in 2008.
After a short stint in WWE’s developmental system in 2010, he would return to All Japan at the end of that year once more a member of the Voodoo Murders group. He would remain in the group until 2011 when the group would be forced to split. He would form a short, but successful, team with Seiya Sanada. Though once that team ended he and Suwama would come to mutual agreement a the “Evolution” faction was formed between the two near dominant competitors in 2013.
Doering would go on to capture the Triple Crown Heavyweight belt for the first time in his career on July 27, 2014 with a win over his teammate Suwama. He went on to make three successful defenses as champion before falling to Go Shiozaki in January of 2015.
Before the start of the “2017 Champion Carnival” league, Doering with diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor which would take him out of all competition for the remainder of the year. Though that November he would appear in Japan for the first time since undergoing treatment and surgery for the illness. He announced he would return to competition in the start of 2017, which he did on January 2. He stated that he was 100% cured and he aimed to put all his all channel all of his mind and power into the pro-wrestling ring.
