She gained fame in the late 1960s and is recognized for her theatrical performances and the band's hit song "One Tin Soldier."
She is also an actress, known for Heaven Can Help (1989), Billy Jack (1971) and 20/20 (1978).
She was previously married to Edward Vincent Mulgrew III.
