Jason "Jay" Mehler (born September 8, 1971) is a musician from Philadelphia, United States.
He is the son of John 'Jack' Mehler of Bucks County (d. 2013) and Judy née Wyatt. He has a sister, Jenna, married to Alan Donatone with two children, Lila and Quinn. He attended high school in Warminster, PA.
During the recording of Kasabian's second album, Empire (2006), Christopher Karloff, one of the band's guitarists and songwriters, left the band due to "creative and artistic differences",and Jay Mehler joined the band.
