Jason 'Jay' Starkey was born in Queen Charlotte's Hospital in Hammersmith, London, to The Beatles' drummer Ringo Starr and his first wife, Maureen Starkey. He has one older brother, drummer Zak Starkey and one younger sister, fashion designer and make-up artist Lee Starkey. His parents divorced when he was 7 years old, his mother, Maureen, had custody of Jay, Zak Lee with Starr having visitation rights.
