Jan Gissberg

Jan Gissberg is a Swedish cartoonist, animator and film director. After studying at Konstfack in Stockholm he started working as an animator at the age of 22 together with Stig Lasseby. He later went on to direct films and TV-series like Agaton Sax, Pelle Svanslös and Kalle Stropp by himself. As a cartoonist he is best known for drawing Rudolf Petersson's 91:an Karlsson, but is also known for his high production speed. In 1992 Gissberg won the Creative Achievement Award during the Guldbagge Awards.
