Description: Jacob Joseph Arrieta (born March 6, 1986) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Baltimore Orioles and Chicago Cubs. He has won the Cy Young Award and was selected for an All Star Game in 2016. The Orioles selected Arrieta in the 2007 MLB draft, and he debuted for the Orioles in 2010. The Orioles traded Arrieta to the Cubs in 2013. In 2015, Arrieta won the Cy Young Award, was the MLB wins leader, pitched a no-hitter, and set a major league record at 0.75 earned run average (ERA) for the lowest second-half ERA.
