Jaime was born in Toronto, Ontario to a mother and father of mixed Trinidadian, Chinese and Spanish ancestry. Growing up, Jaime would be regularly seen putting on performances for relatives and friends from the tender age of 2 where heād impersonate his idol- Michael Jackson. Jaimeās love for dance, music and acting was clear to anyone who knew him. From the age of 13, Jaime developed a keen ear for djāing. His entrepreneurial spirit found him making custom mixed-tapes in grade 9 which was how he funded his purchase of all of this disc jockey equipment. He then went on to dj house parties, elementary and high school dances only to become one of the youngest club djās in Toronto. In fact, when Jaime was 16, his Mother had to attend the clubs with him when he was booked for a gig as the security wouldnāt [naturally] let him in on his own!
Jaimeās love for business was born at the age of 19 when his business mentor turned him on to the idea of building wealth through the acquisition of real estate. He attended many workshops, conferences, read numerous books and at the age of 19 purchased his first two pieces of real estate which became the first of his real estate portfolio. From there, he expanded into the financial markets and then into starting a company that bought and sold active businesses. For a number of years, Jaimeās focus was on building his company which was a holding company that purchased real estate and businesses, but he always knew that despite the pleasure he got from being in business, his true PASSION was in entertaining.
From a young age, his love for entertaining was quite prevalent and with that, he started his performing career in dance until his love for acting was in full bloom. Jaimeās acting started in high school with continued training by the renowned acting coach Andrew Mcilroy in Vancouver, BC. With small to medium sized roles in commercials, film and television to date, Jaimeās goal is to continue doing what he has been blessed to doā¦ entertain. And āmake his Ma Dukes proudā
