Iris Gray

Iris was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin to french parents and later lived in Wichita, Kansas. She studied with the Denishawn Dancers in Los Angeles and joined a dancing act on the Junior Orpheum circuit. Later Iris was discovered by Paramount officials in New York City while attempting to find stage work there, and subsequently joined the Paramount Pictures School in 1926 at 19 years old. She was 5'7" tall, had brown eyes and auburn hair.
