Ian Collins was born in Toronto, Ontario and is the eldest of two children; he is the son of Scottish Canadian Margaret Collins and Guyanese Canadian Prince Michael. In his early childhood, Ian began participating in youth choirs and local stage productions,he continued and improved upon his training until he reached college. After completing his Culinary Arts Degree at the age of 18, Ian opted to follow his passion for performance and realize his cinematic goals.
