Description: He started his career at Club Deportivo Morón, played in Argentine second and third division. In 2002, having not played top level football, he was signed by Piacenza, at that time in Serie A. In summer 2007, he was signed by Sampdoria for their preparation for 2007 UEFA Intertoto Cup. Campagnaro at that time worth €1.55 million cash. On 9 July 2009 he was contracted by Napoli for €7 million, as part of the deal Daniele Mannini moved to Sampdoria in joint-ownership bid for €3.5 million; he signed a 4-year contract.
