Hugh Ashton

Hugh Ashton is a British-born author who has lived in Japan for over a quarter of a century. He has been described as "the reincarnation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle", for his best-selling Sherlock Holmes adventures, approved by the Conan Doyle Estate Ltd., and published by Inknbeans Press of California. He has also published a number of other titles, ranging from children's books featuring Sherlock Ferret, "the world's cutest detective", and stories of older Japanese people, to alternate histories and a novel of international intrigue and mystery set in 2008 Tokyo.
