Hooters sponsored the Hooters Hula Bowl (college football All Star game) from 1995-1999 and was actively involved in activities with the Downtown Athletic Club’s Heisman trophy, the American Football Coaches Association and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Hooters is one of four “building” partners for the Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center having recently renewed its agreement for another 10 years. The other three are Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines and Miller Brewing Company.
Hooters sponsored and hosted the ACC men’s golf championship at its White Water Country Club course in 1997.
Hooters sponsored and hosted the University of North Carolina and Notre Dame University’s women soccer teams in an exhibition match that replayed their NCAA National Championship title game. The game benefited the Lighting Youth Soccer Program of Atlanta.
