Hamza El Sheimy is an Egyptian actor. He was born in 1939 and graduated from Cairo University's faculty of law in 1968. He worked in several national theaters following his graduation, including the Television Theater, the National Theater, and the Modern Theater, and co-starred in many plays, including “Kafr Abu Mgahed”, “Elbelyatsho” (The Clown), “Dayrit el Tabashir Alquqazeya” (An Egyptian rendition of Bertold Brecht's epic “Caucasian Chalk Circle”).
