Whoops!

OK, who unplugged Listal?
Some features still appear to be out of service, like editing a profile, which is generating a 500 error.

I can’t edit either.

The search feature was yielding a 500 error a few hours ago, now it's hit-or-miss.

@nullstuff: give it time before contacting Tom about it.

I'm having the same issue with adding items from any source, not just IMDb. I really hope that gets fixed fast!
If it's still an issue tomorrow I will contact Tom.

I am also getting a 500 error on certain lists, but not others. Tags update as "My Tags" only.
Actually, only "My tags" are displayed. You cannot search by or click on tags.
(I'm just noting the various issues, in case it can be helpful)

Tabs are not shiwing.

I messaged Tom, so hopefully he sees and can fix the bugs. He may be overwhelmed with there being so many.

Issues I'm seeing so far:
- Clicking on the name of a member from the notifications list comes back "site cannot be reached," unless it's someone I've previously visited
- Only my tags are showing on a profile
- Can't add a new item from IMDb, Instagram or Wikipedia using the "search" feature.
(edit)
- Just noticed that "Country of Origin" is not showing up, but "Currently Residing In" shows.

Edit page - Seems ok now
As per TrekMedic's comments Tags & Country of Origin both not showing.

-adding a book, blu-ray/dvd, music, etc from amazon resulted in it being added as a product not it's designated format, though now you can't add them at all as the whole search function seems to not work.
-ditto for adding movies from imdb

Following due to IMDb import not working, which is a main way to add things.

I see the following message on the upper side of the site's screen: "Warning: Undefined variable $hostname in /home/websites/listal/constants.php on line 16"
And "Country of Origin" on people's profiles still missing.
And "Country of Origin" on people's profiles still missing.

Same here.

Yep, same here. A red text appears saying "Warning: Undefined variable $hostname in /home/websites/listal/constants.php on line 16".

Sorry for all the messages, the reply function is also failing. I click the Reply button and my message only appears refreshing the site.
Also, the same red text appears when i try to edit a message in the thread, below my reply.
Edit: However IMDB links already work to me. So it may mean that Tom is already working on this.

I just posted a separate topic thread about the warning, but as davidcartoons said, votes and such need a page refresh to be seen.

@TrekMedic
"Country of Origin" on people's profiles still missing.

Thanks, Tom, if you see this!

Nearly there then, just 'Country of Origin' still missing.

"Country of Origin" on people's profiles still missing.

Country of Origin still not fixed, wonder why this is still an issue!!

I have to believe it was an oversight. Maybe, if Tom works on the site again this weekend, he will address it.

Additionally, searching for members in the forum section returns
"A critical error has occurred xx (000.00.000.000)
This error has been logged and will be dealt with asap."
I've zeroed out my IP address

As long as we're compiling some bugs here, I've noticed we are once again experiencing the issue with characters with an accent mark in the original URL having the links normalized to no accent mark.
If that didn't make any sense (I can't explain it well):
www.listal.com/celine-timmerman
www.listal.com/céline-timmerman
www.listal.com/ce%CC%81line-timmerman

can fix this URL link typo www.listal.com/mary--katy-and-ashley-olsen please?

sal - there is also this: www.listal.com/mary--kate-and-ashley-olsen

ok so can you merge those two URL links: www.listal.com/mary--katy-and-ashley-olsen and www.listal.com/mary--kate-and-ashley-olsen as well as www.listal.com/symba and www.listal.com/symba-smith please?

"Country of Origin" on people's profiles still missing.
I sent Tom a message and got no reply.

Listal is barely hanging on by a thread here. I cannot add anything from a link or update my profile. I keep getting error messages.

Hi Moderators, any chance you could chase up Tom and see if he can resolve some of these issues? thanks

I am now receiving this error when I try to open a picture:
A critical error has occured xx (000.00.000.000) I have zeroed out my IP address

@pdw55 - try contacting Tom directly.
I believe his email is on the bottom of the home page?

Country of origin appears to have returned,...?

@TrekMedic
Yes, Tom told me via message that it was fixed, I posted on the "Country of Origin doesn't appear on profiles (fixed)" topic.
