Changing book status to "unread" hides it from collection

There are three types of lists for books:
Owned, Wanted, Read

There is also a status you can set for each book (under "Edit my info"):
Unread, Reading, Read

When adding a book to one of your lists, the default status is "Read", and the added date is 6 September 2003. The date isn't that big of a deal (although it would be nice if it was accurate). But changing the status from "Read" makes the book disappear from your collections.

As in...you find a book and click any one of the list types, Owned, Wanted, or Read...and it gets added to your collection. You can see it in your Book section. If you view the book and click "Edit my info" and change the read status, the book simply no longer appears in your collection at all. It just doesn't show up, no matter how you're viewing your list. The only way to get it to appear again is essentially "re-add" it to your collection by changing the list type to something else.

This is kind of a big deal because when it happens, it seems you have no way of knowing a book is even in your list unless you search for that specific book in the database and view that specific page.

Can this be fixed?
