Duplicate Images

I'm really getting tired of this one person lying and saying that my images are duplicates and this site does NOT check to see who posted the photo first. They just go on the report that its a duplicate and mine is not. I even have PROOF that mine was posted first. I wanna know why it is so hard to check to see who posted what first before deleting any image?! Its ridiculous for someone to get votes on photos if the other person posted it first they should get the votes. This is childish and needs to be stopped immediately!

We also look at the dimensions of an image, baring a few exceptions, the larger image will remain, irrespective of whether it was posted first or not. An exception being if the larger image is cropped, or altered in any way.

Its funny one of my images was deleted as a duplicate of another photo when it was not even a duplicate. It was a photo that went with a photo but was not a dupilicate image. So how is that? The last photos WERE HD and not cropped.

Images are deleted that are extremely similar as well. And if there are tons of images from the same event many will be deleted. Also, size and quality are huge factors. It's a case by case basis.
