Global Icon (also known as GI) is a South Korean girl group formed by Simtong Entertainment in 2013. Consisting of Hayun, OneKet, Eunji, AI, and Aram, they made their debut with the single "BEATLES", released on April 3, 2013.The group debuted with a "tomboy" concept, in which the members take on a more masculine attitude and style, opposed to feminine concepts many girl groups have.

Following this, a music video teaser was revealed the Rap line, OneKet and AI, followed by a video for vocal line Eunji, Hayun and Aram, and a full group music video teaser.The group released their debut single "BEATLES" on April 3, 2013 along with it's music video. They made their debut on Show Champion the same day.
