Born in Boston, MA. Moved to Portland, Oregon at a young age with her family.
Having starred in over thirty silent films, many of them with top billing, Gladys Walton was a notable silent film star of the 1920s. She debuted in small parts, however she was soon given larger and more important roles in films, such as La La Lucille in 1920 with Universal Studios, as well as The Secret Gift, also in 1920. She starred in Pink Tights (1920), opposite film star Jack Perrin. Walton also had a successful stage career, performing in several musicals during the 1920s on Broadway, such as The Last Waltz in 1921. Numerous Hollywood film
