Gin spent four years as a NFL and NBA sports reporter for KTEV TV, Channel 15, in Texarkana, Texas, primarily covering the Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks pro sports teams. Ms. Blanton has been passionate about media and entertainment since she was a very young girl. In her youth, she indulged herself singing in the church choir, delivering church announcements, as well as participating in cheerleading, drill team, band, and theater, throughout her Jr. and Sr. years in high school. In her early twenties, she made the decision that she would own a publishing company; thus, she set forth to fulfill her dreams.
As a Publisher, Gin has published 7 titles, to date, and as a Producer, she has produced one live stage play, starring famed comedian, Shucky Duckey, 3 short films, as well as directed one feature film. As an actress, Ms. Blanton has appeared in 2 television commercials, 3 stage plays, and several short films. She recently filmed a part for the movie The Hills alongside famed actors Clifton Powell, Taral Hicks and Claudia Jordan. Shas a starring role in the film Deceptions of Love, which is currently available on DVD in retail stores, and video rental outlets, nationwide.
Ms. Blanton’s strong passion and desire to deliver positive, motivating and uplifting products has continued with her current company, Ginger Snaps Productions, where she is slated to film 2 new feature-length movies in 2016.
