Not to be confused with an Austrian politician Georg Alois Kaltschmid.
Georg Kaltschmid was an Austrian composer. He was born on April 23, 1885, in Kössen, Tyrol, Austria-Hungary. He created around 650 music pieces. He is most famous for composing the Kitzbühler Standschützen march, but I don't know when. During the First World War, Kaltschmid served as a military musician. He died on April 9, 1954, in Kufstein, Tyrol.
