Though it doesn't look like a huge upgrade over the last X-Men fighting game, X-Men: Mutant Academy 2 delivers not only graphically enhanced melees, but also six new playable heroes in addition to the previous 10--among them Rogue, Night Crawler, and Havok, plus two secret characters. The game seems to put more emphasis on aerial attacks, which can only help enliven the fights.
