How quick are you at matching patterns? This fast-paced game will challenge players both visually and spatially as they race to be the first to spot and create a pattern and claim a card. The game is composed of a 16-square game board arranged in a 4 x 4 grid. Eight pawns (2 each of 4 different colors) start out the game, each color side-by-side on the two center squares of each side of the board. Players then race to see who can be the first to spot a place where they can match a pattern on a card by moving only one pawn. When they spy a place, they shout “STOP!,” move the pawn and, if no one disagrees with the match, claim the card, replacing it with one from the deck. The game continues until the draw deck is depleted, and the player with the most cards wins. If at any time during the course of the game no moves can be made, the first player to announce “Dead End!” gets to move two pawns to create a pattern, providing no other player disagrees that there are no moves.
