I had an opportunity to take sneak peek at this game at UbiDays in San Francisco. The developer explained that until he was assigned to this project he hated flight sim games. He said that many find this type of game difficult because there is too much going on against a blue back ground making it hard to spot your enemies without being an experienced F-22 pilot. In order to make it more appealing they added the E.R.S. system mentioned above. I got to try out this functionality and found it very easy to use. The E.R.S. does not take the fun out of the game, but rather calculates optimal flight paths for you to engage the enemy.
