Technomage - PC Games

It sets the player in the role of Melvin, the Technomage of the title, whose adventure covers increasingly strange worlds, creatures and tribes. In the time honoured tradition, you need to talk to some of the games' 200 plus unique characters, explore, fight and carry out tasks as you set about achieving the ultimate goal--to save the world of Gothos from an impending mysterious threat. Sometimes to get people on side you need to do them a favour first (they're a demanding lot), others issue no such demands and others simply don't like you. It's as simple as that.

Featuring bright graphics and an easy-to-get-to-grips-with control system (including a well devised camera), there's plenty to like about Technomage. On the downside, there are times when things perhaps drag on a little too much and some tighter scripting here and there wouldn't have gone amiss either. Yet nonetheless, the game should be appreciated for what it is--an enjoyable adventure, where everyone is welcome. So why not join in the fun? --Simon Brew
