The creators of this puzzle did an excellent job at introducing tarot through the accompanying guide book (including an accurate mention of tarot history), designing the Major Arcana cards, and writing the copy for the interpretations. The artwork is lovely and cool, with lots of muted blues, pinks, purples, oranges, and greens. Elements of the accompanying cards form the background images on the puzzle itself, drawing it all together nicely. The puzzle is also of very high quality.
Readings done with the set are interesting and insightful, while remaining lighthearted. The actual layout on the puzzle is easy to follow, and interpretations are clearly marked. Everything is spelled out, so there is no wondering what each position or card in the reading might mean. It is all there, for beginners and non-tarot people, as well as tarot enthusiasts who are familiar with the Celtic Cross and Major Arcana meanings. The puzzle would be excellent at a party or small get-together, and it deserves being kept out for a while, once completed.
