With one small exception, Speedy Gonzales' Aztec Adventure is everything that its sister game, Tazmanian Munching Madness is not: a solid, well-designed, plug-and-play action-adventurer. Based on the Mario Brothers model, Speedy's play involves running through similar boards across various levels, accumulating cheese and weapons (all the better to kill your enemies with, dear), jumping various chasms, and, on occasion, driving a speedboat.
