Re-Volt Value Series - PlayStation

This game is awesome fun--the cars are fast and unbreakable and the driving environments give Re-volt an edge over other driving games. As you are driving a remote-controlled car, you get to race the streets, under cars, through museums without having to worry about realism. The cars drive like you would expect them to, flying around the circuits bouncing and jumping off any obstacle in their path. The tracks are laden with weapons and "power-ups" to collect as you drive, allowing you to blast some of your opponents off the tracks. There are five different driving modes, a total of 28 cars to find and race over 13 different tracks.

Re-volt is a highly entertaining driving game, with simple controls and a fantastic soundtrack. However, Re-volt isn't an easy game to win, requiring you to use ever dirty trick in the book to win over your competition. --Chris Hall
