Instead of the familiar blocks found in Tetris, PuyoPop features colored, bouncy globules (known as Puyos) that advance down from above. Your goal is to match four Puyos of the same color by rotating them and letting them stack onto each other so that they are touching--horizontally, vertically, or both ways. When you match four Puyos, they pop--thus the name PuyoPop. A match will force nasty little blockers (known as OJAMAs) to fall from above onto your opponent's field.
