Description:
Papyrus is an odd game at best--a standard Mario Brothers-style action/adventure game, where you play Papyrus, an Egyptian stand-in for Aladdin. (In later levels, you can play as Theti, the Pharoah's daughter--and a dead ringer for Aladdin's own Princess Jasmine.) Unfortunately, the game itself isn't up to the standard that these comparisons set: the gameplay is awkward, the object less than compelling and the underwater level frustrating. Though suitable for the age range specified (3 and up), children much older than the minimum age will likely grow bored of it before too long. --Randy Silver
