Players seek to answer trivia regarding famous news stories dating back as early as 1900. Categories include: 20th Century, 21st Century, Sports, Arts & Entertainment, and Science & Technology.
Victory is achieved by scoring five of one category, a 3/2 combination, or a run including each category, so players are awarded both for breadth of knowledge as well as expertise.
Of particular interest to trivia buffs is that each question, when answered, includes the story behind the headline.
