The Netgear DM602 is versatile, smoothly engineered modem lets you use your telephone while you're online; it delivers full-rate ADSL data transfer at speeds up to 8 Mbps downstream and 800 Kbps upstream for lightning-fast Web surfing. Designed to look great in any environment, it's also nicely compact to fit in easily where space is limited. The Netgear DM602 can operate in two modes - Modem or NAT Modem. In Modem Mode the host computer or cable/dsl router requires PPPoE/PPPoA software. In NAT mode the Netgear DM602 modem controls your Internet connections and provides a seamless, hassle free Broadband experience.
The Netgear DM602 combines USB and Ethernet connectivity in one modem so you get the benefits of either, including easy, Plug and Play operability, as well as Ethernet compatibility with virtually all operating systems. You also have the option to use this modem as a simple router – you'll be protected against hackers without installing any extra software on your PC.
Netgear DM602 WAN port delivers up to 8 Mbps of network speed – over 100 times the rate of a normal analog modem – so you can enjoy high bandwidth applications such as corporate network access, Internet access, music downloads, gaming, and video delivery.
