Microsoft Baseball 2001 - PC Games

Even though the game is geared towards a US audience, it is an impressive package. Gamers unfamiliar with the game may find the reams of statistics and unknown players difficult, but the game itself offers top-quality entertainment.

Installation is quick and easy, as it generally is with Microsoft products, and the graphics are excellent, taking in major US baseball arenas such as Pacific Bell Park, Comerica Park and Miller Park. The atmosphere of a packed house makes for an exciting experience. Baseball may not be as subtle and intricate as cricket, but Baseball 2001 may prompt the gamer to take interest in the game. --Paul Munford
