La grandeza que tiene este juego es merecida. Es muy buen juego, a pesar de que tiene sus fallas. Cuando cree y piense la reseรฑa de este juego, verรฉis a lo que me refiero.

Best Military based game I've ever played!

Warning: Spoilers
This is by far the best Stealth game ever created. Not only does it have excellent game-play, but it explains the Origins of The Big Boss A.K.A "Snake". It's not only a Steath game, but a survival game as well. In order to stay alive you have to find food. And what better food in the Jungle than Animals. You can eat a variety of creatures such as Fish, snakes, birds, toads, and basically anything you can get your hands that breaths(except people). But keep it to long it expires and if snake eats it, you can get sick and die. HOW COOL IS THAT?!

Another thing I really dig in this amazing game is the variety of Camoflauge you can wear. Everything from Treebark(which is my favorite), to Tigerstripe, to moss, and to White Kubuki masks! Its best if you choose the Cameo that fits the environment. There's even down loadable camos. If you have a game adapter, just pop the game in, plug the adapter into your PC and find a site that you can download from. I think there is a Mummy cameo, your life goes down slower and you can take more damage, Grenade cameo, it gives you infinite grenades, and a Santa suit that keeps you warm in cold environments.

This game has the best storie line in the entire Metal Gear series. The bosses are incredible. There's a spider type guy, a dead eye sharp shooter, and even a GHOST! There are tones of other bosses to face too.

All in All, one of my favorite video games and an incredible installment to the Metal Gear Solid series. 10 stars out of 10 all the way.

Not enough can be said about how awesome this game is. Granted, now a days there is the better one (Subsistence) with online play and all, but with both versions the game is awesome. I have played all the Metal Gear games and think the story is one of the most interesting around. If you own a PS2 buy this game.

The Pinnacle of the MGS Series

Posted : 15 years, 5 months ago on 7 November 2008 03:49

I've always enjoyed the Metal Gear Solid series and this is no exception. Taking place before the events of the first Metal Gear Solid game, this game serves as a prequel to the series, introducing characters like (the god damned annoying) Ocelot (brace yourself) Raiden and Snake (not solid/liquid), and detailing how Snake become the Big Boss. Set in the Russian jungle during the cold war, the game includes all the classic MGS gameplay, including over the top bosses (guy who shoots lightning from his fingertips, another who controls bees etc.) and an intriguing story of romance, betrayal, courage and suprising twists that has obviously been inspired by a James Bond flicks. A thing thats new to the game is the camouflage system, where instead of hiding behind crates and shadows as in other MGS games, you don different camouflages to blend into the environment. This sorta reminds me of the original predator movies, as you can stalk enemies and lure them into booby traps (immensely cool, especially if you turn the enemy traps against them). One aspect that is both good and bad are the Hollywood style cut scenes, often clocking around 10 to 15 minutes in length are both annoying yet very fascinating. Despite this, I have to say this is the perfect stealth game, well at least until MGS 4 came out.
