MDK 2 Armageddon - PlayStation 2

The PlayStation 2 version of the sequel follows the acclaimed releases of the Dreamcast and PC versions. MDK2: Armageddon returns gamers to the roles of Kurt, still endowed with an outrageously avant-garde sniper helmet; Dr. Fluke Hawkins, the insanely brilliant scientist who creates weapons out of common household items; and Max, an Uzi-packing dog with the unique trait of having six legs. Each character's experience through the game is unique. As in the original, the gorgeously rendered environments are packed with a new population of quirky enemies. Remember the enemies who showed you their, uh... "cheekier" side when you targeted them in your long-range sniper rifle scope? Well, the sniper scope is now enhanced with features such as bouncing bullets that target enemies around corners (no telling whether that saves you from undesirable views of "the moon").

The MDK2 experience on the PlayStation 2 features a few enhancements and improvements not found on the PC or Dreamcast. Players will discover adjustable difficulty settings, multiple control options, and in-game hints for those extra-challenging spots... and you'll come across plenty of those. --Eric Twelker
