Fans of American football will be dazzled by the level of gameplay available here--there are dozens of formations with hundreds of options; there's never been a better simulation of the game. Besides individual gameplay, there's the opportunity here to play not just a single game, but anything from a specific game situation (Sudden Death), a full season, or just the playoffs. It's a dizzying array.

Ultimately, though, it will prove disappointing for casual fans--there's simply too much to do, too much to know, and not enough just-do-it.
