Malcolm, an evil Jester (only in first part of a trilogy he plays a complete bad guy, but that's 'cuz you don't get his lighter side, which he lacks here and there) has broken free from a prison, and now ended turning everyone into stone statues. He was wrongfully accused to slain the King (we'll uncover that in the last part of the trilogy), so he revenges without thinking. Seems that everything around him is getting a bad mood, but with a filthy jokes well placed. Your only goal beside getting to know more of youreself, is to stop this villain by using his own magic tricks against himself. Sometimes, the only solution is to let evil be defeated by itself.
Book Two: The Hand of Fate: The Legend Of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate, is the second in a row of Kyrandia intrigues, and slightly goes off ballance comparing to other two. You're now in a challenging female role of the most beautiful computer woman that changes her outfit with a single snap' and yat looks georgeous. Yup, you're now a royal mystic Zanthia. Under unknown terms, Kyrandia is disappearing, and the solution was to get the anchor from the Center of the World (that's a real place, not a slang). Eventually, you'll find anchor, only in plural, and about hundreds of them, but with no use whatsoever. So, the more challenging adventures begin to unfold...
Book Three: Malcolm's Revenge: The Legend of Kyrandia: Malcolm's Revenge, is the last part of the trilogy, and starting to use 3D rendered smothly created and detailed animations (only not so many of them), and give you a body of a Malcolm, the evil jester, and a bad joker himself. You get some extra options like, you can approach in a lying, normal or truthsayer style. Also, you'll battle your conscious rapidly, but eventually, you'll be the one to decide which one to keep, and which one to set free, or leave imprisoned. This time, you must prove your innocence, not only to dead ones, like Catherine, but to the whole known Kyrandians, and it won't be easy, and no fun at all. This game changes its paths and endings as you create your character by your mood and truth settings. And, finally, when the game ends, and you get to rest of the trilogy, there's nice ending and end credits to watch for, worthy your playing.
