Though this game is 2d its very pretty. This game's best feature besides being unique is the fact that there is never a tedious moment. Every click requires an actual decision. Interface is easy and efficient. Learning curve is not steep and the game starts out easy and gives the player a self setting difficulty through the "honor" score system. Description: Gratuitous Space Battles is a game about battles which take place in space and are completely gratuitous. It was developed by Positech Games in 2007 and is available for download and purchase at their website. Many addons have been made since release including a 4x mode. The game is rather unique among space battle sims in that the player does not actually give any orders during the battle itself; rather, he first puts together ship designs, uses these designs to assemble a fleet, and gives orders to the ships in this fleet before unleashing them against the enemy fleet.
