3 weeks ago I was sent on a recon-mission to the Obianc Mountain, in the dying deserts, 250 km south-east of the capital. The command base had detected an energy-Chroma peak in that area. They thought it might be just an insignificant anomaly, worth a routine check but nothing more. Sending one man would be enough. When I reached the area my instrumentation indicated that the energy source was hidden in the bowels of the mountain. I should have warned the base, but I didn't... and with no hesitation I made my way through the darkness... Before that day, for weeks, I had been haunted by strange dreams, sometimes nightmares.
