Children can make table decorations (placements, drinking straws and so on), design and make things for a party (wrapping paper, labels and party bags, for example), create decorations for your house (photographs and mobiles), design playing cards, fancy hats, make and decorate writing materials (envelopes, invitation cards, postcards) and prepare things for school, such as timetables and bookmarks. The manufacturers recommend the package as being suitable for children aged 3 years and above, but obviously lots of help will be needed for young users.

There are more than 250 pictures to choose from, with numerous colours and artistic effects for the messages. You can even insert your own photograph to add that personal touch, and select the most appropriate sheet of paper to print upon from the 35 special sheets of Rey Paper provided with the package (specifically chosen and supplied for the different projects).

The CD-ROM is easy to install, and instructions are included in the simple accompanying pamphlet, but more detailed information can be accessed from the menu screen. It is extremely beneficial for parents to read the Parents' Help section before going on to access the User Guide as there are no voiced instructions. Printing out the User Guide will also be advantageous. Help is available every time a new project is opened. It is essential for users to familiarise themselves with all tasks necessary to carry out the projects effectively, and to make themselves conversant with the different types of paper and their suitability for the projects involved. The tips option is extremely helpful for advice on printing. Though aimed at children, young and old alike can spend hours of fun with this excellent package. --Susan Naylor
