Blade - Game Boy

Playing Blade, your task is to rid the city of vampires, any which way you can; whether it be through the use of your sub-machine gun or simply by punching them the choice is yours, and with the odd stunt up your sleeve as well, the vampires had better be watching out.

In gameplay that is reminiscent of Double Dragon, the majority of the levels are based on side-to-side movement, although some are more firing range in style, just to keep you on your toes.

Although not the best game of its kind on the Game Boy, Blade does offer some nice touches and you can't but help wishing that his famous boomerang weapon in this game was standard and not on rationed ammunition. --Stuart Miles
