IBM 305 RAMAC
The IBM 305 RAMAC was an American commercial computer. RAMAC means "Random Access Method of Accounting and Control". It was created in 1956. It was the first computer with a hard disk drive of 3.75 megabytes. The mass of this computer was over a ton. This computer was also presented at the American National Exhibition in the USSR in 1959.
The IBM 305 was the computer itself. It included a processing unit, a magnetic process drum, a magnetic core register, and electronic logical and arithmetic circuits.
