Description:
Frank Silvera was an American film actor and director. The Jamacian-born actor attended Northeastern Law School before becoming an actor. He appeared in two Stanley Kubrick-directed films, "Fear and Desire" (1953) and "Killer's Kiss" (1955). Silvera was accidentally electrocuted in his home at the age of 56, while trying to repair an electrical appliance. At the time of his death, he appearing on the TV series "The High Chapparal". He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Silvera was killed on June 11, 1970, after accidentally electrocuting himself while repairing a garbage disposal
