Frank Ronzio was an American actor best known for his role as "Litmus" in the 1979 film "Escape from Alcatraz" starring Clint Eastwood. Ronzio also served as a bombardier and officer in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. His B-17 was shot down in 1943 on a mission over the Focke-Wulf factory in Hamburg, Germany and crashed into the North Sea. He was captured and imprisoned at Stalag Luft III and Stalag VII-A.
