Description: Francesca Fialdini (Massa, 11 October 1979) is an Italian television and radio presenter. After graduating in Communication Sciences from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", she began her career working in radio as a collaborator for the foreign editorial staff and as anchorwoman of the Vatican Radio news in 2004. From 2005 to September 2013 she worked as correspondent, consultant and anchorwoman of the news program A sua immagine, broadcast on Rai 1. From 2008 to 2012 she conducted Videozine, a film and TV series column on Fox. Since January 2010 she presented the literary culture programme Cultbook - Storie o Francesca Fialdini (Massa, 11 October 1979) is an Italian television and radio presenter.

After graduating in Communication Sciences from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", she began her career working in radio as a collaborator for the foreign editorial staff and as anchorwoman of the Vatican Radio news in 2004. From 2005 to September 2013 she worked as correspondent, consultant and anchorwoman of the news program A sua immagine, broadcast on Rai 1. From 2008 to 2012 she conducted Videozine, a film and TV series column on Fox.

Since January 2010 she presented the literary culture programme Cultbook - Storie on Rai 2, while since July of the same year she conducted the radio programme Un'estate fa on Rai Radio 1 together with Roberto Zampa. Since November 2012, she has been on air on Rai Premium for the weekly programme Fictionmania.

In July 2012 she presented the Premio Strega with Luca Salerno on Rai 1 and since January 2013 she has been working alongside Fabio Volo in the last 8 episodes of Volo live on Rai 3. From March 13, 2013 he will present the weekly Moviextra cinema column, broadcast on Rai Movie. In July of the same year he conducted the first two episodes of Movie Talk, the talk version of the Movie Drugstore column, also on Rai Movie.

From October 5, 2013 he conducted with Tiberio Timperi the 2013-2014 season of the program Unomattina in famiglia on Rai 1, replacing Miriam Leone. In 2014 she was guest for some episodes of the program Mezzogiorno in famiglia on Rai 2 as a supporter of the team of the town of Villafranca di Verona.

From 8th September 2014 she will land in Unomattina, which she will lead for three seasons together with Franco Di Mare. On 22 December 2016, on the occasion of the program's thirtieth anniversary, Pope Francis telephoned live on December 22, 2016, wishing the presenters and all the staff a Christmas greeting. Since 2015 he has been the voice for the meditation of the Way of the Cross with the Pope at the Colosseum.

From 2016 to 2018, together with Alberto Matano, he led the Biagio Agnes Prize from Sorrento, an important recognition for the journalistic field, for three editions. In November 2016 he published the novel Il sogno di un vendor di sigarette for the publisher Città Nuova and from the 19th of the same month he conducted the 59th edition of the Zecchino d'Oro together with Giovanni Caccamo.

For the 2017-2018 season he replaced Cristina Parodi in the running of La vita in diretta, alongside Marco Liorni. He conducted the 60th edition of the Zecchino d'Oro again on Rai 1.

In the summer of 2018 she co-conducted on Rai 3 the program In viaggio con lei together with Angela Rafanelli and she was confirmed as the director of La vita in diretta, returning to work with Tiberio Timperi after 4 years from the first time.
