Floanne Ankah acts in film, stage and television. Born and raised in a French farm, she has an international look and can embody various nationalities. Floanne's vocal repertoire includes french classics, opera arias and her own songs. She has recorded commercial voice-overs for international usage, including the voice of Kate Moss in the Yves Saint Laurent spot for Parisienne, and is proficient with different levels of accents.

As an actor, Ankah has performed at venues such as the Public Theatre and the Guggenheim Museum, and has been part of numerous experimental theater works. Her New York training includes Jay Goldenberg and Ruth Nerken at the School for Film and Television, Edward Morehouse at the Herbert Berghof Studio, as well as improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade and the Magnet.
Floanne Ankah holds a degree from the Merce Cunningham Dance Studio and has choreographed for various venues. She is the founder of SiMPLE production, a non-profit organization committed to the development of new work that integrates the talent of innovative and โsparklingโ artists from various cultures. Her films "ONE WAY" was awarded the price of Best Experimental Film at the 5th Big Apple Film Festival in New York City and "Waterfront Access?" received the 2010 Golden Reel award for Best Dance Film at the 9th Tiburon International Film Festival in California.
