Description:
Fiona is from Argyll and Bute on the west coast of Scotland. She trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow and has worked extensively in theatre all over the UK and Ireland. Her latest roles have included Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf for The Gate Theatre in Dublin and Gertrude in Yael Farber's production of Hamlet, also at The Gate.
Her best known TV and Film roles have been in Soldier Soldier, Trainspotting, Gregory's 2 Girls, Jack Taylor and most recently in Shetland for the BBC.
